The thermoelectric Module (TEM ) is a semiconductor solid-state thermoelectric device. Its operation is based on the Peltier effect. TEM allows achieve and maintain desired temperatures in limeted volumes and chambers.
Semiconductor components (branches) N- and P-type are connected in a certain sequence and soldered between two ceramic plates. When constant voltage to the findings of TEM is applied, the absorption of heat on one plate and the heat liberation on another occurs. Thus, the effect of “heat pump” is achieved – the transfer of heat. The temperature difference between the opposite sides of TEM reaches 70° C.
